Carol Jensen was born and raised in the verdant Hood River Valley in the Pacific North West. She grew up playing among the apple orchards, in the shadow of three ancient snow capped mountains and on the banks of the mighty Columbia River. Her roots ran deep beneath the mountains, searching for the essence of the land which appeared as bright yellow and blue wild flowers, ice-cold clear water and Indian artifacts tinged with blood. She has fished commercially in Alaska, sailed between the Hawaiian Islands, and attended college in Europe and the United States. In 1981 she found herself on the shores of the beautiful Monterey Bay. Here she has stayed for the past 25 years, studying yoga and raising her children. Carol and Rob were married on Mother's Day 200l.
