Carol Jensen was born and raised in the verdant Hood River Valley in the Pacific North West. She grew up playing among the apple orchards, in the shadow of three ancient snow capped mountains and on the banks of the mighty Columbia River. Her roots ran deep beneath the mountains, searching for the essence of the land which appeared as bright yellow and blue wild flowers, ice-cold clear water and Indian artifacts stained with tears. She has fished commercially in Alaska, sailed between the Hawaiian Islands, and attended college in Europe and the United States. In 1981 she found herself on the shores of the beautiful Monterey Bay. Here she has stayed for the past 29 years living her dream.

"About six months ago, I was visiting a friend in Washington, D.C. He has been planning on building a beach house for some time in Delaware and was showing me the plans his architect had made. He seemed unhappy with them and was considering not going forward. As we talked, I began making suggestions, did some sketches and bada-bing, bada-boom... he asked if he could hire me to design his beach house from scratch! I ended up staying for two months doing the work, building a model, etc. Because I am so new and lack certain experience, we asked his previous architect to work with us to complete construction documents and find a local, reputable builder. He agreed to do so and we've been working with him since.
My friend, Gary, asked for a "Zen" house. I translated that into inner peace, which translates into a healing space.... exactly what I stated I want to do in our hypnosis sessions... and I get to do it on my first commission!
